Our range of alloy and carbon wheels handlebars cranks stems and seat posts are made to elevate your riding save weight and keep you riding on road and gravel. We have put everything we have learned during the last 17 years of alloy frame design and manufacture into this completely new and very advanced scandium alloy road bike frame. In practical use the different alloys will be indistinguishable though 7005 is slightly cheaper to work with as it requires less overall processing. Most likely just a cost issue.

There are some more exotic alloys including scandium and lithium in limited use which aim to reduce frame weight even further. The modern and most common frame design for an upright bicycle is based on the safety bicycle and consists of two triangles. A bicycle frame is the main component of a bicycle onto which wheels and other components are fitted. This is especially valuable in high strength aluminum like 7005.

Whilst other manufacturers focus has been on carbon we believe that by putting the same development into alloy tubing we have created a frame that rivals carbon in. This means that the properties of the alloy are less likely to be affected by heat treatment and welding so a scandium infused aluminum alloy is less likely to crack while cooling. Scandium is essentially a lighter variation of aluminum alloy more expensive material to produce and work with. Scandium also interrupts melted aluminum crystalizing at a molecular level when the metal cools.
